Using the Polestar Pilates name and logo on your business card

Can I use the Polestar Pilates name and logo on my business card?

Can I use the Polestar Pilates name and logo on my business card?

Yes — we love that you want to show your Polestar Pilates training, and many graduates do exactly this. Because "Polestar Pilates" and the Polestar logo are trademark-protected, there are a few simple rules to follow so the brand is represented consistently and correctly. This article explains how to write the name, how to describe your qualification, and how to get the official logo files.

How should I write the "Polestar Pilates" name?

  • Always write it as Polestar Pilates, kept together on a single line (don't split it across two lines).
  • At its first or most prominent mention, show it with the registered trademark mark: POLESTAR®.
  • If your card or material carries the Polestar logo, include this attribution once, in small print: "Polestar® is a registered trademark of Polestar Enterprises, LLC."
  • Don't combine the Polestar name or logo with a place name to imply an official local entity (for example "Polestar Pilates [City]") — that reads as an official branch and needs separate permission.

How should I describe my qualification?

Describe only the level you have actually completed, and use Polestar's own wording for it. Polestar's teacher-training pathways include the Comprehensive programme (with Studio and Rehabilitation tracks), as well as Mat and Reformer training.

Important: completing a training course is a step toward Polestar certification, not certification itself. You become a Polestar-certified teacher only after you finish the required practice/observation hours and pass the Polestar certification exam. Please describe yourself as "certified" only once you have completed that process.

The exact wording you are entitled to use (for example "Comprehensive", "Studio", "Comprehensive Studio", "graduate", or "certified teacher") depends on what you have completed in your record. So that your card is accurate and on-brand, please ask us to confirm the precise wording for your qualification before you print — we'll check it against your training record.

How do I get the official logo files?

If you would like to use the Polestar logo, please request the approved files from us — don't copy a logo from the web or recreate it yourself, as those versions are usually incorrect. When you use the logo, please:

  • Use the supplied file as-is — never recolour, stretch, distort, or crop it.
  • Leave clear space around it (about half the logo's height on every side) and keep it large enough to stay legible.
  • Use the horizontal logo as the primary version, and never use the "running man" symbol on its own.
  • Place it on a clean, uncluttered background.

Please send us your card design before printing if it carries the Polestar name or logo, so we can do a quick check that everything is correct. We're glad to help.

See it in practice

Here are two correct examples. The names, contact details, and qualifications are fictional — confirm your own wording with Polestar Pilates India before printing.

1. A card centred on Polestar practice — for an instructor whose practice is defined by Polestar, so the brand sits at the heart of the card. Note the name on one line, POLESTAR® at the prominent mention, the official horizontal logo used as-is, and the trademark line on the back.

2. A personal card listing other qualifications — the card belongs to the professional, not to Polestar. Their name leads, their full mix of qualifications is listed in their own words, and Polestar appears as one credential under "Trained with," correctly attributed.

Who do I contact?

Email Polestar Pilates India at info@polestarpilates.in. Tell us you'd like the logo files and confirmation of your qualification wording for a business card, and our team will help you.
